The New Moon and total Solar Eclipse will happen on 12th August, 2026. In the UK, Ireland and elsewhere in Europe, we will get to see a partial eclipse beginning at around 6pm and peaking at around 7pm. Spain, Iceland, the Arctic Ocean, Greenland and some parts of Portugal will be graced with a total eclipse, visible to the naked eye.
Yet we don’t have to see it to feel it.
