New Moon in Gemini on 15th June 2026-New Perspectives
Astrological Weather Forecast for all zodiac signs
The gift of Gemini is to be ever open to the new — new ideas, new friends, new connections. Their natural curiosity is what keeps them youthful and sprite-like. Like the butterfly, they flit from flower to flower, covering a broad surface area, gathering impressions and information as they go.
True, the cleverness of Gemini does not necessarily mean the wisdom that comes with age. It is more the curiosity of the child who asks endless questions, always retaining an open mind and a youthful outlook.
The New Moon in mercurial Gemini is a rejuvenating elixir, blowing the mental cobwebs away, lightening the mood, and making us more adaptable and open to the new. The tempo of communication speeds up into the quicksilver tone of this air sign, blowing the mental cobwebs away and breathing in the new and fresh.
This is the lunation for networking, gathering ideas and information, and learning new skills. Gemini needs movement, exchange, conversation, and the freedom to follow where the mind wants to go.
Not your everyday New Moon in Gemini
This is not your usual New Moon in Gemini, which happens once a year during Gemini season. It is the first New Moon in Gemini with Uranus since the 1940s. Uranus, the revolutionary, change-making trailblazer, adds a huge reset button to this lunation. If you would like to dive deeper into how Uranus, the awakener and resetter will be bringing change and freedom into your life, unique to your birth chart, do check out my natal chart and forecasting service to book in for a live session with me. https://nataliedelahaye.com/astrology/
Uranus brings awakening, disruption, invention and liberation. In Gemini, this moves through the mind: language, storytelling, education, perception, communication, media, learning and travel. Gemini is not the sign of intuition, rather left -brain intellect, yet with Uranus occupying Gemini, intuitive hunches and mental brainwaves become an every- day part of our lives, in the area where Gemini is in your chart.
New Moon in Gemini carries a stronger feeling of change. It is a fresh start, but also a shift in frequency. Old ways of thinking, speaking and connecting may suddenly feel too limiting, especially where we are too dualistic, too black and white and too reliant on the intellect. There may be a need for different conversations, different communities, and different ways of using our voice.
Aspects Sun and Moon sextile Chiron: This transit delivers the key to healing old wounds through communication. The guardian angel sextile aspect suggests a supportive environment in which to feel safe communicating about something that has previously been too painful. We can find new perspectives for looking at old issues and can rewrite our story to reflect the person we are becoming. In Aries, Chiron can lack the courage to show up as his/her authentic self, yet the Sun and Moon in flowing aspect to Chiron, can help to express the true you. Growth and acceptance comes from embracing our imperfections where we are, rather than waiting to feel completely healed.
Where Gemini falls in your chart
The area of life that brings new beginnings and growth is wherever Gemini falls in your chart. Neighbours, siblings, community, media, short journeys, duality and learning all feature in this new beginning, especially for those who have planets and points in Gemini.
Gemini often speaks through the small things: a message, a meeting, a passing comment, a book picked up at the right time, or a conversation that opens a new door in the mind.
Breath, language and perception
Air sign Gemini is all about the breath. A Gemini mind needs to be free and clear, so it can mentally travel, circulate, and breathe in new ideas and inspiration. When the mind becomes too crowded or too fixed, it loses its lightness.
Language and self-expression are key themes for this New Moon: mental dexterity, adaptability, and a fresh relationship with our perceptions. Gemini is the storyteller and weaver of ideas. It teaches us that the stories we tell shape the world we inhabit.
Under this New Moon, we might ask where our thinking has become too narrow, where we are repeating an old narrative because it is familiar, and what kind of information we are taking in every day. Is it feeding the nervous system or fraying it?
New Moon Intentions
At this Gemini New Moon, celebrate the eclectic, be diverse, and stay curious.
This is a beautiful time to begin again with words: to write, speak, study, listen, reach out, reconnect, revise and reframe. The mind is not a prison when it is allowed to move.
Perhaps the deeper medicine of Gemini is not to have all the answers, but to stay in conversation with life. To keep the windows open. To let the fresh air in.
Essential Oil Choices
As always, if you are using essential oils dilute on skin in a carrier oil and patch test first
Lemongrass essential oil is a perfect choice for Gemini season. It is refreshing, mentally rejuvenating and calming for the nerves. Mercurial Geminis are heady beings, and sometimes that racing mind and mental dexterity can exhaust them. Lemongrass helps with mental fatigue and has a boosting effect on the memory. Add some drops to your vaporizer or diffuser for a mental pick- me up. Lemongrass makes a fabulous insect repellent and a powerful energy cleanser at home or in the office.
Air sign Gemini is all about the breath. A Gemini mind needs to be free and clear, so that it can mentally travel and breath in new ideas and inspiration. Geminis rules the respiratory system, and when under stress, the twins can be prone to asthma and bronchitis. Pine essential oil is one of my choices for Gemini. It strengthens the immune system and it purifies the air, like a morning walk through a crisp Alpine forest. Add a few drops to your bath or add 10 drops to 40ml of massage base oil, i.e, almond or grapeseed, rub onto the chest and take some long deep breaths.
Bergamot is mentally strengthening and mood enhancing, for those moments of anxiety that Gemini can feel. Bergamot stimulates the brain to release neurotransmitters, which balance the mood and stimulates the flow of mood enhancing chemicals serotonin, and dopamine Add 5 to 10 drops to your diffuser or your bath and soak up the cheery, uplifting effects. Do not massage onto skin before exposure to the sun however.
